Jet Orientation Course
The Jet Orientation Course manages the transition from propeller-driven aircraft to aircraft capable of performing at much higher speeds.
There is no official jet rating sanctioned by GACA, however Rabigh Wings Aviation Academy can offer jet training in the form of a Jet Orientation Course (JOC). A Jet Orientation Course will be approximately 1 week in duration and will include classroom and practical training. Practical training will take place in a simulator. A typical syllabus will include the following:• Autopilot training
• Flight director
• Advanced instrumentation (EFIS)
• Aircraft handling
• Emergency procedures (e.g. engine failure)
The JOC takes place in a multi-crew environment. Students who wish to work with an airline will benefit from this course.
